Notes

This is the last of my Flowers yarn! Have loved making the various designs for it. Sad to see it gone, but I have several awesome scarves to give now.

After washing, the yarn flowers get fluffier and prettier.
Washes and tumble dries beautifully.

I have notes on the other designs on those project pages.
Each design would be lovely for any yarn.

This is not my personal pattern.
It is a design for this yarn by Premier Yarn Design Group.

The bobble / popcorn / cluster is called the pineapple stitch in this pattern.

Errata
The pattern directions are this:
Pineapple Stitch (PS):
(Yo, insert hk in ch or sp , yo, draw a lp) 4 times in same ch or sp,
yo, draw through first 8 lps on hk,
yo, draw through remaining 2 lps on hk.

Doing the above results in 16 additional loops, not counting the one originally there, instead of 8 additional loops plus one.

Clarification
Yo, insert hook in ch or sp. (3 loops on hook)
(yo, draw up a loop) 3 times. (9 loops on hook)
yo, draw thru first 8 loops. (2 loops on hook)
yo, draw thru remaining 2 loops. (1 loop on hook)

Tip:
There’s numerous ch’s to join without twisting.
Work fsc instead of chains for easier joining.
Option:
Save a few inches before starting for a few stitches.
Work one full patt row flat, then join and work in the round.
Stitch up the first row area.

Tip:
Add or subtract length in multiples of 4 stitches / chains.

Tip:
It’s important to make loose yo’s and loose draw up loops when making the pineapple stitch cluster.

Tip:
If working this pattern flat, make ch 3 at the end of every row for a bobble space on the return of the next row
