Notes

Another simple yet chic design by the talented Alexandra Tavel. Directions are very well written.

This yarn is light and airy.
At the halfway point, I hadn’t used half of my yarn, so elected to work a few more rows before the neck shaping area.

Tip:
Place a marker on the loop of the first stitch of every row to be worked into on the next row. For crochet, it’s very easy to gain and lose stitches at ends of rows. Without markers, a rectangle soon becomes a trapezoid or rhombus. Taking a moment to place a marker results in perfect row counts every time without counting.

Made up quickly.
Wood and sparkly beads around the edges with sc stitches.
Worked back neck area sc without beads to reinforce that edge.

When worn, the beads dangle about and sound like rain!
