Super cute little thing!
Perfect yarn for it, yes!

Directions are very clear.
One can make this design with any super bulky yarn and adorn with pompoms as desired.

Held pom yarn double and regular yarn double as well.
My gauge was more dense than patt, but stayed with it because the fabric was just right for the yarn combination.
When I make this again, I’ll put the pom nose and eyes up one row.

To go with matching snood, Lemonade Pompom Ember Cowl, for a little girl.

Modification:
Elected to continue spiraled decreases, each leg, to make the bottom of the leg lie flat.
