Heartland is very pretty yarn perfectly suited to this garter stitch project. It has a lovely sheen and the many purl stitches look like beads.

I used this project to improve my continental knitwise stitching.
Tip:
Keep track of the number of wraps you do for your first pompom so both are the same.
