This is an easy and fun project. Directions are very clear. Increased to 37 st for a little more width.

Kodiak is discontinued, but can be found here and there online. Some local shops may have it. It’s dreamy.

I’ve made this scarf before in a bargain acrylic yarn. It turned out beautifully. It is a project that’s hard to put down, as the designer explains.

Continental style knitting is very useful for this project.

Note: when making pom poms, count the wraps so all sections are identical. Used 4 sk for scarf and .7 sk for pom poms.

This scarf is versatile with many ways to wear.

1. wrap around the head to cover one’s ears
2. loop around the neck once or twice
3. loop long like a cowl, as shown in top picture
4. wrap around and tie
5. wear straight all the way down!
