This pattern is formatted in US terminology, photo tutorial altogether.
The other hexagon animals such as the bear, bunny, sheep, panda, koala, are formatted twice. Once with the photo tutorial and one as text only, for printing convenience. They are provided UK and US crochet terminology. All formats are included in one pattern for those.

If one the directions for any of those others, then one only needs to print the directions for the head and ears of the dog pattern. All the bodies and paws are the same.

Used the same hook for all pieces.
Fabric was quite dense enough for the stuffed head and feet.
Included a carrying handle at the center back.

Modifications
Body:
at r 7 - 10, turned work after ch2 at beg of said rows.
this enabled the dc x 2 in same sp to be oriented better.

Body seam:
did not turn body sections inside out.
worked r 11 RS up, sl st the two inside loops of body layers .

Tail:
worked tail at back continuously upon completing center back seam.
worked carry handle at center back as well before finishing off yarn.
carry handle adds an element of fun.
(In so doing, one attaches the head with the back body facing.)
