It came out bigger than I expected but it is very cute.

Used up this green yarn making turtle and dino stuffies.
Held yarn double.

Note:
The stitches are hdcs.
One needs a tight gauge or stuffing will be visible or easy for a kid to pull out. Alternatively, one can fashion a fabric liner and then stuff it.

Made 4 sets of spike pieces (8 individual), crocheting two pieces together, so the spikes stand up a little better. Stuffed them with the yarn tails and attached.
Attached the arms and legs a little differently.
Embroidered face details a little differently.
Attached a carry handle along the upper back.
