Notes

Purchased this yarn and pattern from the lovely designer, herself at a fiber festival.
So many beautiful yarns and patterns at her booth.

The yarn comes prewound as a cake with the beg color in the center. It pulls from the center very easily.

Usually, I’m an over gauge knitter, but went up a needle to get closer to patt gauge. I’m still under gauge, but I guess the stitches will relax upon washing and will achieve expected dimensions.

Worked flat with button closure.
Added beads to eyelets and to centers of the sunray section. Added beads to bindoff and crochet edge.

I elected not to do the picot edge. I worked a super stretchy bindoff with beads. Had enough yarn to crochet a lacey edge with beads with ~ 10 y leftover.

Given to a New Mexico girl on the occasion of her high school graduation, complements of the Los Alamos designer and yarn purveyor, Ms. Anne Podlesak!
