I love this design. It is fun to make.
It takes some time to work up but is worth it.
It is practical and adorable.

Grandson, a crystal enthusiast, chose this color because it is similar to amethyst.

Adapted this design into a bigger size: age 6 - 8.
I’ve made it twice before in age 4 - 6 size.
One ball of Ice Cream Big Scoop is enough for the popover as written in size 1 & 2.

As before, I made shaped arm openings for the back and front pieces. Made sleeves with upper arm shaping and shallow sleeve caps.

This is a very good yarn for kids’ garments.
Colors are beautiful and the yarn is resilient.

Surprisingly, I have a different gauge this time: stitches a little bigger than before.

Used yarn, directly off the skein, for main sections.
Used specific color sections for hood and sleeves.
