A very sweet design.
A versatile piece worth making for a kid’s wardrobe: stylish substitute for a light jacket.

Modifications:
Made sweater style, shaped armscye, side seams.
Set in sleeves: shallow sleeve cap and underarm shaping.
Added 1” to hood ht.

The baby: one year old in June, 2024.
This will fit when the child is 4 or so.
Had a collection of yarn animals for the gift as well.

Don’t be alarmed by the yardage used.
Held yarn double.
A stylish and useful piece.
Knitting each piece is easy but takes time, so patience is needed.

Sultan Deluxe is quite a fine yarn, lace, in my opinion. Not sport by any means, but, what do I know. I used Hobbii Sultan before. Same characteristic.
How can a yarn that is ~ 440 y / 100 g be anything other than a lace wt. I don’t know.

Worked one str from center along with other str from outside the skein for the body pieces.
Worked from one skein on the front piece and a new skein for the back for same color distribution.
Worked hood with the darker color, held double.
