Ordered the magazine from the UK.
Awesome.
It came!
Royal Mail and everything!
The wait seemed long because the pkg was hung up in L.A. customs for three days.

A most eclectic magazine.

Gauge for Sweater:
22 sr 39 r / 4” st st 4.0 mm needle
I got: 20 st 30 r / 4” st st 4.0 needle

Note:
Directions for knitting up the pieces are straightforward and clear.
Assembly is a little tricky.
One must read the assembly instructions carefully.

Recommendation:
Attach the base edge (ecru) of the Head Top piece to the top edge (black) of the Head before stitching the main seams (row edges) of those two pieces.
(The written directions state to see the row edge of the Head and the row edges of the Top of Head first, then attach the Head Top piece.)

Recommendation:
Finish sweater before attaching the legs and head.
Place sweater on and mark the leg positions. Attach legs, put sweater on then attach head.

Zigzag:
Crocheted a chain, then sc back across it, one for each sleeve and one for the sweater body in purple. Worked one row sc on each side of the purple piece: (3 sc, 3 sc in one, 3 sc, 3 sc tog). Tacked each piece on.

I didn’t attach the neck piece because I couldn’t really figure out where it was supposed to go. The sweater covers the join of the head to the body…
