This is a wonderful design.
The designer takes the extra measure to have teaching directions and photo tutorials for starting rows expertly and tidy finishing of rows.

Key Info to know for your yarn plan:
This design calls for worsted, held double, for the main pieces and ears.
One can simply use a super bulky, single strand instead.
The eyes and embroidered face features use a very small amount of black, single stranded.
I believe all similar designs by this designer are done with the worsted , double str plan.

For a 12” pillow size, one would need about 150 y super bulky for the face and ears and about 200 y super bulky for the back piece and bobble rows on the front.

It takes time to make all the bobbles, but it is worth it.

Worked rounds to cover a commercial 12” round pillow insert, which was thru round 8 of the face color and r 9, 10 of the fleece color. The directions include more rows for a 15” project.

I used a worsted, double str for the front face section.
I used a super bulky, single str, for the back piece and front bobbles section.
Since I used a 12” commercial pillow insert, my project was smaller than the design one (15”).
