Notes

Adapted pattern for this amazing bulky yarn.
CO 64

Added beads to the center motif.
Made as a scarf.
1” 2 x 2 ribbing at ends, smaller needles.
Button closure.
For this double layer item, buttonholes need to be on both layers.

All instructions for this pattern are very clear.
Pattern has detailed instructions on how to graft a project that is in the round and has provisional cast on.
Lace pattern is charted only with stitch glossary.
One could write the 22 story pattern out easily.
Odd rows, 1 - 27 comprise the lace pattern.
Even rows are k across.

Note:
Stitch glossary states:
sl 2 as if to k2tog, k1, p2sso
Modification:
sl 1, k2tog, psso
This results in matching the look of the ssk and k2tog stitches that occur thru out the lace pattern.

A great tip:
faux side seams so piece lies flat:
EZ’s Phoney Seams technique from the incomparable, the late Ms. Elizabeth Zimmermann.
Directions available online.
Work side stitches along the way.

Note:
Is machine wash, gentle, tumble dry, gentle if you plan ahead.
Make a swatch and wash/dry it.
Expect it to shrink just a bit length wise.
Before MW: 15 st, 23 r / 4”.
After MW: 15 st, 27 r / 4”.
For a garment where length matters, add ~ 3 rows per 4” to compensate. Allow for enough yarn.
Garment will be a bit fuzzier, but still very pretty.
