Notes

Pattern directions are very clear for this stunning design. It works up very quickly.

This yarn is beautiful and soft. Economical- almost 300 y/sk. Garment is light and airy with this loosely plied cotton/bamboo blend.

Note: upon swatching and MW / machine dry;
-stitches relaxed widthwise- adjusted by using a tighter guage.
-rows shrank- compensated by adding length.

Raised the front neckline a few rows so it wouldn’t be too low.
Note:
For neck/ arm edges, directions state to “work 1 WS r, then work dec row. Repeat these two rows until 8, 10, 12 st remain.” Stitches will dec too rapidly. There’ll also be too many st to work even at top of shoulder, unless you want a wider shoulder band.
To be consistent with the designer’s detail photo, work 3r even, then the dec row. Continue this 3 + 1 row patt until desired st rem.

Instructions state to “work two rows of eyelets” at neck, arm and hem edges. The designer’s garment works the eyelet pattern once, thus, no rpt of rounds 1 & 2 of eyelet rows in those areas.

The directions state to “work peplum increases every 4th row for 10 (11) times, then work even to hem.” The designer’s garment looks like it has about 13 patt 4 r workings. My peplum was coming out too short, so I did the increase/even rows in 1 + 6 increments, thus flaring the peplum evenly without too many rows worked even at the bottom. Worked hem bind off loosely.
