This pattern is very easy and quick to make.

I worked a row of sc, ch 1 all around and kept it as a scarf, rather than seaming for a cowl.

When making the third section with the shells, work hook thru entire stitch and not just the front or back loop. The weight of the shell pulls and those areas are then much looser if done with one loop. I didn’t realize that until after it was washed.

I really like the sampler style designs that are available lately.

It’s very pretty and makes a wonderful gift.
