This is a quick and easy, free pattern.

Iced is a budget-friendly yarn from Patons that is fun to work with, has pretty sparkle and looks expensive.

It’s best to work the yarn from outside the sk rather than from the center. It’s tangly in there. One sk had several knots. Using those remnant pieces for the fringe.

Cast on 24 to get 8 1/2” width. Pattern states that 18 st will result in 9” width. My swatch was on gauge. Oh, well.

Pattern instructs: yo, p2 tog for open work sections.
I elected to yo, k2tog tbl instead thru out. The result is the same, since it’s a reversible design. It’s faster and easier that way.
For the first garter st section, I knitted 8 r, vs 7 as written.
