Notes

The entire collection of fairies is included as a free supplement when you buy the designated Simply Crochet issue. An incredible offer.
https://pocketmags.com/us/simply-crochet-magazine/issue-1...

The yarn fairies are meticulously represented from Cicely Mary Barker’s Flower Fairies illustrations and poems.

Note:
All directions are in British Crochet Terminology.
(I converted the directions into US Terminology for myself.)

Recommendation:
Work r 23, 24, 25 of body with double str yarn, stitching tightly. Omit r 26 of body.
Make and put the clothes on the body before making the head.
The above steps strengthen the neck to support the head.

Suggestion:
Head:
Work r 1 with traditional sc, vs BLO. Work chain stitches as written.

Erratum:
Tunic: r 3
In US terminology, pattern states:
Row 3 Ch 1, 4 sc , ch 4, skip next 5 sts, (1dc, 1 hdc) in next st, (hdc, 1 sc) in next st, 4 sc, (1 sc, 1hdc) in next st, (1 hdc, 1 dc) in next st, ch 4, skip next 5 sts, 4 dc, turn.
Correction:
The last 4 stitches should be sc’s.

Erratum:
Large Wing:
r 11 ends with 7 stitches.
r 12 directions work only one decrease, but stitch count for that row is 5.
One can leave the last stitch of r 11 unworked.
Proceed with directions for r 13 as written.
