Notes

After this one, I’ll have made 3/4 of the collection.
After making one, you get the hang of it and the others are made more quickly.
Each doll can be made in 2 or 3 days.
I highly recommend making and attaching the clothes to the dolls before making the head. Doing so prevents the head from getting wobbly.
They are a delight to make and are well worth the effort.

One can purchase the Simply Crochet Issue # 130 and supplement download for $7 USD.

Erratum
Hood:
Rows 15 and 16 are not present in the directions:
Continuing as established, r 15 and 16 would be thus;
r 15: 2 sc dec, 8 sc, 2 sc dec. (12)
r 16: 2 sc dec, sc 4, 3 sc dec. (8)

Note:
All directions are in British Crochet Terminology.
(I converted the directions into US Terminology for myself.)

Recommendation:
Work r 23, 24, 25 of body with double str yarn, stitching tightly. Omit r 26 of body.
Make and put on the clothes for the body before making the head.
The above steps strengthen the neck to support the head.

Suggestion:
Head:
Work r 1 with traditional sc, vs BLO. Work the chain stitches as written.

Modification:
Made hood top down, working increases in the same manner as the written decreases. Improvised openings for the ears. Attached ears before attaching hood.
