Swirls! Fringe! Purple! Pretty!

This is the fourth time I’ve made this pattern. It’s super fun and easy to make. It’s a ‘go to ‘ pattern for a quick gift. Can be made in two evenings or so.

I cast on 3, then inc to 23 st for a little more width, then worked the body section and dec sections from there.

Used ~ 2 3/4 sk incl fringe. The pattern works 19 st in main section. 3 sk are plenty.

The pattern doesn’t give directions for fringe, but one needs to save some for that. I cut 18” segments and looped double along each edge. Knot the end of every segment so there’s no fraying upon wash and wear.

This is the first time I’ve worked with this yarn and I really like it. It’s more substantial than Rowan Thick ‘n Thin and really holds it’s own in comparison. Very nice.

This yarn can be purchased in Joann stores or thru Joann online. There are more colors online than in the stores. There’s a lovely black and a dark purple, called Iris that’s beautiful. Watch for sales and use coupons.
