Notes

I’ve made this design several times.
It’s fun and quick and makes a wonderful accessory.

I really like this ‘craft store’ yarn. 50 % wool, actually! It’s very good quality and looks expensive. This Iris color is deep and beautiful.

Making wider to use all 4 sk.
Worked 33 st per row.
Worked end stitches very loosely.
One must remember that bias stretches lengthwise.
The width of the finished scarf will decrease and length will increase once it’s done, washed and is being worn.

button closure.

If you want to make this design into a cowl, see fellow raveler, Amy’s, rolliaknit
The Purple People Eater Cowl

To achieve her 3 x 3 rib with bias movement, cast on in multiples of 6 plus 1 st. If you want a zigzag pattern, add or subtract 2 st at desired intervals. For example, for ~ 42 - 44” circumference, CO 72 + 1 = 73. Super easy. Super cool.
