This project is from a free pattern set by Be Sweet: two rectangular scarf / shawl designs, a tube collar/ cowl and a beanie hat.

Cast on 30 for narrower scarf vs shawl, as written.

Worked bulky and lacewt tog as one for colorblock purposes. I’m usually not a big fan of colorblock, but I really like this pattern and how these yarns have worked together.

All rows are st st, with no side edge finish included in the pattern.
Work nice side edges by knitting last st every row, then sl 1st st pwise yif.
Or work a few st in garter st patt at sides. Rib St Selvedge is another pretty side edge alternative.

Ends have simple crochet edge, included in pattern.

Very quick! Made in ~ 2 days! Great for a last minute gift.
