Ms. June is the original creator of it. She is a very talented and sweet person.
I asked her a question about one of her other designs some time ago. She replied right away and was so gracious.

I used the project by katalilly, turtles hatching blanket as inspiration for the placement of colors, turtles and eggs for mine.

Worked 11 repeats / row.
Worked one row fsc, then r 1 and 2 in dc patt.
132 + 12 fsc = 144 fsc

Worked r 2 repeats alternating BLO, then FLO, in order to have unworked loops on every RS row.
Worked small openings in the water sections for swimming turtles.
Added rows of sl sl, sc and hdc surface crochet on random rows over the RS front loops.
Added row of sc all around.
