DK yarn and US 5 needle.
Used stash of Mandala yarn.
Each one takes ~ 20 - 25 y.

18 kids + leaders and extra = 22 for a preschool class.
Attached a lanyard clip for backpack buddies.
Attached a little red heart to one paw of each.
Attached a flower appliqué to the other paw.
Attached four knitted or crocheted paws.
I-cord for a few inches for cat tails and crocheted tails for the others.
Assorted knit or crochet ears, whether bunny, dog or bear.
Smaller crochet hook for the hearts.
Bigger hook for the paws and tails.
