Notes

This is the third Wookiee-ee-ee I’ve made.
Very thankful to Ms. Melissa for this awesome design.

Have a good yarn for it.
It’s not the brown that Chewie was, but I don’t think anyone will mind.

Have been working up my supply of eyelash yarns.
Almost there!

Carried fingering along with the eyelash yarn for easier stitching.

Safety first:
Animal eyes need to go on before stuffing.
Safety eyes aren’t really safe. To prevent them from being thru, reinforced the surrounding stitches invisibly so there’s no way one could pull the eyes thru.

Crocheting faux fur causes the RS to face the opposite, while working. The side facing is the WS. One needs to be able to turn the work inside out at some point.

Elected to stitch the legs directly onto the body after row 34 of the body. Closed the legs at the foot end. Was able to turn the piece inside out without issue thru the second leg, before the decrease rows.
The pattern has one work the legs from the foot base on up and then sew to the body, which was closed up.

Added a carry handle at the back, nape of the neck.
