i just found this while browsing and i think it is lovely, pluss i just got a load ( 15 skeins) of gorgeous wool in exactly this colour from a charity shop for only £2!!!! Will have to work out gauge and needles and see if it possible to get some more of this yarn (fingers crossed) and if not work out what to combine with it.
Have just bought the pattern book from Deramores and am waiting for it to arrive……

IT IS HERE!!! the wonderful book of Yokes has arrived. very excited to get started, and am already plotting and planning my summer project, my birthday project (october) and my Christmas project. Need also to factor in the Christmas pressie makes, but i am on it!!!!

well i have just finished it and it is up on bedroom floor on layers of towels being blocked. Gotta confess that the blocking phase has been marked by a rather terrible wet dog smell, so i am querying where the yarn came from before i got it - I suppose that is what comes from buying 15 balls for pure wool from the charity shop for just £2.

buttons are ready to sew on, cant wait, will post photo when it is all done!

all done, blocked and buttoned and clear snaps’ed. I cant believe how much alike it looks to the original. Into the freezer now, and all done!
