This was knit with a knitting belt.
What would I change next time:
Avoid squishy, flowy superwash yarn that is only fit for shawls and the like.
……………..
I need long arm warmers which enable me to wear my half-sleeve tops in winter. Grey is the perfect neutral colour.
Question I asked in the techniques forum regarding swapping the methods to perform a left twist
I found it hard to perform the left twist in the pattern, therefore I looked for a video with an alternative. This video by Knit Purl Hunter is the solution, and it also shows the difference in the finished piece, between two methods I have been eyeing. Slipping the stitches first makes it so much easier to enter them with the needle! ![ grin](https://style-cdn.ravelrycache.com/images/twemoji/1f601.png)

Tubular Bindoff in the round by Knitting with Suzanne Bryan - perfect match to my go-to, nice and stretchy, tubular cast on! ![ heart_eyes](https://style-cdn.ravelrycache.com/images/twemoji/1f60d.png)
I knitted 14 rounds of ribbing before starting the setup rounds of the tubular bind off. The bind off itself results in two visible rounds, different from the tubular cast on (which results in three visible rounds). One shouldn’t pull too tight when working the last of the five rounds, because the kitchener is not as elastic as the tubular cast on.
I added 7 rounds after the last leaf.

They are finished, but I am not very happy with my choice of yarn. The Malabrigo might be good for shawls, it has a good flow for this purpose, but it is too floppy for ribbing that should be elastic, yet sturdy. The Malabrigo has lost all its ability to spring back to its usual form.
So the ribbing at the upper arms keeps slipping down and I have to remedy that now somehow. Humph. ![:face_with_rolling_eyes: face_with_rolling_eyes](https://style-cdn.ravelrycache.com/images/twemoji/1f644.png)
