I used a prayer shawl that someone gave me a few years ago as the size template for this pattern. I then figured out how many squares wide and long.

I learned how to join the squares from a YouTube video. It makes the finishing a lot nicer than trying to crochet or whip stitch the finished squares.

My church asked for more masculine projects. I thought shades of green and brown would work well.

I enjoy working with Encore. I call it my little workhorse.
