Had to go down in needle sizes to get close to gauge. Lovely yarn. I’ll see how it goes when I get into the details. Right now the body has minimal shaping. Just keeping track of the rows.

3-23-15 - nearly done with the relatively easy part of the lower body. Lots of instructions coming up for short rows, left and right side shaping. Let’s see how this goes.

4-5-15 - Finished both sleeve caps this weekend. Don’t seem to know how to neatly do wrap/turn short rows in ribbing. One out of every four wraps turned out crappy. I need a really rudimentary instruction sheet for doing short rows in ribbing. Not happy with myself.

4-11-15 - Finished the entire project. Negative: I still don’t know how to set up button holes and space them properly. One button hole is basically up in the collar so I decided to not put a button there. I did improve my use of short rows. It works best to work the first stitch in the 2x2 ribbing and then wrap the second stitch. Then when you turn the stitch will be the same. Positive: I took extra time to pick up the trim stitches. They look very nice.

Grade B - I could have done better, but I did some things really well.
