Notes

Started in a hotel on a work trip. Easy pattern to follow though the instructions aren’t perfect. Little silver disks in the yarn don’t easily flow through the hook.

My Personal Rules for this project - I have to be on the road, in an airport or hotel room only. No crocheting at home allowed. Finished on the road over Thanksgiving 2010.

Notes: Use a very loose tension when crocheting. The crystals on the yarn need the extra space for going through the stitches. Make sure you have the entire thread on the hook before finishing a stitch. That way if you need to rip out stitches you know that they will rip out smoothly with little or no snagging. I used a mohair version of this yarn so the silk might be spun differently.

This scarf won a blue ribbon at the local county fair (Washington County) in August, 2011.

Happy Crocheting!
