My first project on my own. Lots of learning opportunities with this project. I’m making three out of the four towels from the 4 towels on one warp project from Handwoven. In between broken warp threads, shuttles that come loose as you throw them, heddles that don’t raise when they are supposed to, and other interesting gremlins; I’m learning a lot and looking forward to taking these off the loom.

May - two towels are complete. Working on the third. Lots of work travel has put this project on the back burner.

August 22 - third towel nearly complete. This has been such a humbling project. I’ve made so many rookie mistakes and really need to finish the last steps--this week.

October 8 - towels sat around for several weeks with the hems pinned. Machine sewed because I couldn’t choke down the thought of hand sewing six seams.
