Notes:
- Knit on size 2 needles instead of 1.5.
- Didn’t check gauge and ran out of yarn…
- So, I did 35 repeats of short row section 3 instead of 36. Also, I had to cut out a couple of rows near the end, so I could finish. I literally had 2.5 inches of yarn left after bind off.
- Definitely ran out of motivation while knitting, but I got through it! Knitting scarves are not my favorite…
- Blocking works wonders!
1/23:Knitting this also for the Downton KAL with Luvinthemommyhood. Wonder if I’ll finish! Lots of knitting on tiny needles!
2/5:Realized after looking at some of the FOs that I was doing the lace wrong. So I ripped it, and started over. Better to do that than just correct and wish the beginning of the scarf was correct, even though I had 6 inches worked.
2/22: 2 skeins down, 1 to go! Seems so slow! I’ve gotten quite distracted by wanting to do other projects instead. But now that I’m over halfway, I think that will help. 25 repeats of the 3rd short row in, I starting to finally see the finish line!
3/6: well… I started a new project and got distracted… But I finally finished the 3rd short row repeats tonight! So close!
3/12: phew. done knitting. still need to weave in ends and block. I ran out of yarn and ripped back 3 times before I was actually able to finish knitting. I guess that’s why you check gauge on a scarf…
3/14: blocking! stretched out perfectly!
