I’ve had this yarn for a couple of years (and just learned the dyer is no longer making yarn!), and finally decided it just needs to be a simple shawl. I’m on a garter-stitch kick, so I’m using this pattern more as a template, converting it to garter stitch, with increases as kfb instead of M1.

I’ll aim for the required number of stitches to do the lace border, but I’ll put in a lifeline before I begin, just in case it doesn’t quite mesh right with the garter texture. I think it will, though.
