Well - photos speak for themselves… I received plenty of stink eye during the photo shoot… Needless to say that kitties were NOT impressed by hoomins knitting skills … :-D

P.S. Of course none of our fur babies were harmed during this short photo session while wearing the lions mane - and they were plenty compensated afterwards with lots of play time and cuddles :-)

Gotta make this for our two Turkish Vans :-D - they are definately lions by heart - seems only fair that they have matching manes… Me? I’ll probably need some bandaid after taking the modelling shots once the manes are done…

Considered making a red mane for Soda (male, red/white cat) and a black mane for Sil (female, black/white cat), but a big black mane for Sil will probably end up looking like a giant afro on her little head, so I think it’s going to be a white mane for the both of them… A big black afro could be kind of cool though… hmmm - I’ll start with a white one and then we’ll see :-)
