I made this sweater once before, pre-ravelry, with the original Mary Maxim Cloudspun Chunky weight yarn in a deep green. I gave it to my sister, who still wears it.

I thought it was time to make myself one in wool.

This whole project seems to be out of synch with the space time continuum, however. The Mary Maxim crowd has a different sweater photograph with this name. And the Cascade yarn does not appear in the ravelry database, either. But I got it from Webs some time back.

11/6/17: I wore this sweater sans zipper to Rhinebeck 2017. I have pinned the custom ordered zip in place. Now, to sew. That could take several more months to get up the gumption.

12/19/17: I have actually put the zipper in and it wasn’t so bad to do. I love wearing this. It is going to be a regular in the rotation.
