I had to adjust this pattern a bit to get the shape i wanted. I added a knit row inbetween each row and only increased until here was 20 stitches. i believe after 16 stitch row i knit around twice.
I purchased the ornaments at Joans, and added some beads that are a little hard to see in the picture. I hot glued some little pieces of dowel to the bottom of the tree to give it a little height. then I tried to glue the trees to the bottom but that didnt work for me very well. Instead i threaded some clear fishing line through the bead i had stitched on top then just secured that to the top of the ornament with tape. the topper to the ornament covers it.
