3/22/15 Bag #3 will go with the “little black dress” that I don’t own! I guess I will have to get one. ;)

Some yarn is from my stash, but most I just bought at a great sale at Smiley’s in Queens, NY.

3/28/15 I am so pleased that I finished beading and lining before putting this together! So now when it’s done it will be truly DONE! (I still haven’t lined the first 2) Next: sew seams, add strap and button closure. I plan on a trip to Joanne’s for a special button and will look at braid as well to see it there is something I can use for the strap. Otherwise I’ll have to make my own.

3/31/15 I had to do some surgery before I finished. Because I made this one off center it didn’t close well after I buttoned it. So I opened the lining and clipped a row of the mesh at the top of the flap. I kinda knew it was wonky from the start, but in my impatience just pushed on. When will I ever learn? I purchased cording for the strap this time because I thought this bag deserved it.
