I made this in 2009 and was holding onto it because all my nieces and nephews having babies could not be trusted to care for it. When my sister had her first grandchild this year, 2014, I realized I could give it to her as a “grandma” blanket to use for visiting babies now and into the future. :)

The center teddy bear design was from a cross-stitch magazine, designed for a small quilt square on aida cloth. I blew it up to use on my afghan stitch panel. The rest is my own design. I will search for the magazine to list here…
