I was trying out some new sock yarn (Paton’s Kroy Rusty Stripes) working tunisian to see the pattern repeats. Since I had a rectangle I figured I might as well make a Kindle bag. The color of the yarn included a blue that I never would have thought of putting with the rust/brown/off-white colors. I suppose it represents verdigris in the rust theme.

I was planning on adding other shapes on top of the “boring” rectangle - I did add one previously made spiral- but I saw the space as an opportunity to add my initials.I was happy to finally use some of the many bullion circles I have been piling up.

Most of the bag is sock yarn, with worsted brown used for the strap and some matching blue worsted around the edges. My purple Kindle cover is showing through, so if I get ambitious I may line it.
