These scrumbles will be added to the one I made “Playing Prudence.” I think they may become a bag eventually :)
(KC 5 is my imitation Prudence Mapstone scrumble)

I’ve been merrily going along crocheting with no idea of when to stop. Not soon enough apparently. I laid the original scrumble out on a mesh handbag form and there was very little room left for new bits. I only added a few around the edges in the pic. The next 2 pics are all the other bits & scrumbles!
The free side of the bag will be under the flap when the bag is folded & seamed, so I don’t want anything dimensional there with the friction. I may use just knitting and spirals or other flat shapes.
Next I laid out the pieces on a crocheted base I had previously made. That only gave me an extra 2 inches along the side - enough for a row of spirals and bullions.
So I’ll have to decide: hard bag or soft? or should I crochet a larger soft bag? hmm…

I now have the green mesh bag close to finished. I am adding beads, liner and handles next. Then I will move on to the plastic mesh bag and still have bits left over!

Done! I finished beading and lining yesterday. Added shoulder strap today. I still want to make a second bag.
