I made this shawl after my black and white handbag. Someone* recommended I crochet a “little black dress” to go with it. I don’t think I’m up to that!

I used many different yarns from Smiley’s in Queens, NY. The leaves are from Prudence Mapstone’s pattern. The body of the shawl was knit on large needles. I did random yo increases (holes) to make it more “freeformy.”
