Challenging pattern. It’s difficult to move the stitches around even with two repeats. Knitting just one pattern repeat wide is relatively easy. I love how it looks differently depending on how colors are arranged. On the top of my swatch, where similar colors are arranged in a gradient, it looks like maple leaves. In the bottom, where neighboring colors are in contrast, different shapes emerge. I photoshopped the pics to get the big picture.
Quite interesting…. I am hooked.
The yarn I am using is wool / acrylic blend; it hardly blocks at all. I wish I had pure wool, something like Kauni or KnitPicks Palette.
