So, the idea was to merely knit a flat 2-repeat wide sample for the pattern page. But as I was knitting it, I noticed that the size and the shape of it would be perfect for a vest or a tank. I only had to add the shoulder straps (with stacked stitches, how else). I made two identical details, back and front, and sewn them together. The seam looks better than I expected, although I think I could do a better job with it. But overall, a nice top I got! The yarn is upsetting though. Does not block well, that’s one thing. Another thing - feels rough next to skin, and way too hot for a summer top. I will wear it in winter over a cotton shirt.
