Notes

11/8: Maylene spun this roving for me last year after we went to Lambtown. It was very girly and have been waiting to find the perfect pattern to showcase Maylene’s talented skills and to use up as much of this heaven as possible.

When I saw the flower as the decrease I thought this would be a perfect match for this very girly yarn.

I made a few modification for my big head. I reversed the needles -- US4 for the brim: Knitted 7 rows = 1 in. US5 for the body: Knitted 46 rows = 5.75 in. I had enough handspun to knit 6 in for the body, but I didn’t want to take any chances.

Unblocked: 8.5 in (h) x 9 in (w)
Blocked: 9 in x 9.75 in

Overall, another great TV watching pattern. The body portion is very easy to remember. The flower decrease kept it interesting. It takes longer than a regular decrease and uses more yarn.

Love, love the results! The girly handspun makes it a one-of-kind, cute slouchy hat. Definitely would knit this again for gift giving.
