Notes

11/1: I originally tried to knit Intuitive this week, but found out that I didn’t have enough yarn to finish it as I was about 60% done and just by looking at the remaining yarn it was not going to be enough. UGHHHHH!!!!! My first frogged project and it’s because I didn’t have enough yarn to finish!!!

I wanted to knit a hat with this alpaca to wear at Interweave Knitting Lab in my hometown. So back to my Rav library and I found this pattern. Boy, I am glad this happened. You can’t really see the lace part because of this alpaca is a twist of hand-dyded black and royal blue and it bloomed. I like the texture of the sts, the bloom, and it definitely has a nice slouch. Light, soft, warm. The truest color is the last photo. The 2nd pic highlights the bloom.

Followed the pattern exactly and the hat fits my big head perfectly after I wet blocked it. Not tight at all! Covers my ears. I love the circular decrease. Overall, cute hat! Would like to knit this with a solid so I can see the lace.

Blocked: 8.5 in x 9.75 in

It’s a very quick knit and I would definitely knit this again for gifts.
