Surprisingly, I am getting exact gauge with this mystery yarn.

Just finished ball number 3 and I’m only on row 46 out of 60 (for the base of the bag) and out of 195 for the entire bag. I definitely over estimated how much yarn was on each of these bulky balls.

I found several skeins of Noro Chocyin that is close to the same thickness but they are designated as Aran weight. I will alternate my last skein of white with the blue multi-color Noro to help them blend smoothly, then continue the rest of the bag with the Noro skeins. I have 4 Noro available so it will be plenty to finish this project.

The Noro is a thick-and-thin yarn so not sure how it will felt up when I wash/shrink it.

Finished the last skein of white yarn at row 90. All the rest will be done with the Noro.

Started the second skein of noro halfway up the second strap.

Finished the bag and the tab and wove in all the thread ends. Now time to felt it.

The knitted bag was HUGE! After 2 ‘jeans’ cycles (changing the water temp to hot and adding high spin), it felted to half of the original height.
