I have one additional blue yarn that was already wound in my stash. I am uncertain what it is, but it is likely to be a blue shade from Knitting Notions.

One minor annoyance so far… The yarns are ordered darkest to lightest so if we follow the pattern, #1 is the darkest yarn. But in the first chart, the light symbol represents the dark yarn and the dark symbol represents the lighter yarn. So I constantly have to remind myself which yarn I am really supposed to pick up for each stitch.

I had to replace yarn #2. It was too close to yarn #4 and there was zero contrast when knitting a design with them together. I pulled a couple partial dark yarn leftovers that are more purple/black and will use those in place of #2. I will use the solid one on the left of the picture first, and if I run out then I will fill in with the one on the right. I already found there wasn’t enough contrast between yarn #1 and #5 for the wave chart because the yarn #1 has too much variegation in it. I will leave it but try to make sure other bands have better contrast.

Warning -- I had to order another skein of color #6. I didn’t have enough to just finish the body, but I still needed to do both of the sleeves.

Starting the sleeves. The instructions are awkward/unclear/inaccurate when starting the sleeves. The BOR before starting the sleeves is on the top of the shoulder for one of the sleeves so we would be starting row 37 at the top of the shoulder. But the instructions for the sleeve say to do round 37 and at the end of the round to increase stitches at the underarm. So in order to follow the directions, we would have to either only do half a round of row 37 starting from the top of the sleeve and then start row 38 from the underarm which skips row 37 for the first half of the sleeve, or else we need to repeat the first half of row 37 starting at the underarm which causes a double row for the first half of the sleeve.

Just finished the first sleeve and finally tried this on. This is the second sweater I’ve made from this designer. Each time, the finished sweater is a LOT larger than expected. The bust on this one has ended up with 5-6 inches of positive ease even though I was knitting a size that should have been only 1 inch of ease. If I make another one of hers, I think I need to aim for about 2 inches negative ease and will end up about right.

Finished all the knitting. All that is left is to weave in the loose ends and block it.
