01-23-2023

There are a LOT of instructions and different counts of stitches for each of the rows and leaves so I can’t watch tv while working on this, but I’m really enjoying the way it’s turning out so far.

The pattern doesn’t say to pick up the wraps, but I’m finding that the stitches look much more even when I do pick up the wraps.

Finished the i-cord. Just need to sew the seams and it will be finished.

I saw other knitters said they omitted the i-cord because it doesn’t stretch. I did the i-cord and it fit perfectly. I wish I hadn’t cut the yarn (as directed in the instructions) when I finished the i-cord because it would have been a cleaner edge if I’d continued to use the same yarn to sew the seam.
