Finished the first skein of Cascade halfway through the 8th tier.

Even though I was getting gauge on the seed stitch, my tiers seem to be shorter than expected. I think my tension on the ‘backward knitting’ is tighter than it should be.

According to the schematic, from the bottom to the point of dividing front/back should be 16” but mine is just under 13. My blocks are much denser than the pattern image so I’m hoping that blocking this will add the missing length when I finish.

Finished the 2nd main-color skein 12 rows after separating front/back.

Finished the front and back. Now I need to seam the shoulders and then do the edging.

Ended up with a really close game of yarn chicken. I had only 30 inches of the 3rd skein left when I finished the last bind-off.
