Cast on 75 instead of 67 (8 extra) to give just under 2 extra inches since this says it fits 34-40 inch bust. The original cast on looked too small to stretch far enough around waist/hips.

I just finished the 11 repeats but is a little shorter than I’d like before starting the armholes. I will add one more set of repeats.

This means that I need to remember to do 12 repeats when I do the front.

I did an extra repeat of the pattern for the armhole length too.

There is a confusing part of the pattern when it describes the armhole shaping. The pattern has 2 rows in one direction, then 2 rows in the other direction. However, it says to bind off 6 stitches on next 2 rows. That’s not right. It should be binding off 6 in each direction so it is considering 2 rows in the same direction to be a single row.

Then the pattern says to decrease each end every other row 6 times. Because of the previous error in describing rows, I’m unsure if this is supposed to be “every other pattern row” or if it means every other 2-row set.

The pictures really wash out the brilliant color. This is really rich jewel tones.

I added an extra repeat in both the body and the armscye but when I finished the front/back and tried it on, it was several inches too short. It was still a couple inches above my belly button. I had to rip this all out.
