I frogged this project in the end - I was very happy with how it was going, but realised that making it out of a really lovely baby wool was quite foolish when it’s not really a baby project. The wool is far too nice to use for a proof-of-concept project when I could be using it to make something lovely for an actual baby instead.

I do love the pattern, both the simplicity of it and the overall look, so I shall very likely make a complete Boneyard Shawl for myself at some time when I find a wool I really like and when I have the time!
